Jodianne is a certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. With 10 years of experience, she has worked with children, teens, and their families to prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication and cognitive communication disorders.

Jodianne believes in the whole-child approach, which supports and nurtures all areas of an individual’s development. She focuses on treating the whole person, not just the diagnosis, and coming up with a comprehensive treatment plan for the individual as a WHOLE.

In 2007, Jodianne graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders, as well as a minor in Business. After completion of the dual program in Regular Education and Special Education (birth through second grade), she received her Masters of Science in Education in 2010 from The College of New Rochelle. In 2013, she received her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Mercy College.

She has achieved a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) as awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She is currently licensed by the state of New York. Jodianne is also a PROMPT trained therapist. PROMPT stands for Prompt for Reconstructing Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets. PROMPT is a successful treatment method for children with motor speech disorders such as apraxia or dysarthria. Adults with similar conditions also benefit from this method. In addition, she has achieved the NYS certificate for Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) for Speech- Language Pathologists.

Jodianne has been employed by the Department of Health and has worked with the NYC Early Intervention population since 2008, as an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Special Instructor (SI), as well as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).

She has also worked as an independent contractor for Cerebral Palsy of Westchester (ages 5-21) and the Brownell Preschool (preschool aged), while continuing to work in the Early Intervention field.

Jodianne is happily married with two children and currently lives in Harrison, NY. Their downtime is often spent on a baseball field for one of the various teams their son plays for. Jodianne enjoys relaxing movie nights with the family. She also adores her two Cavapoos, Stella and Weston, who has completed their family. Additionally, she appreciates traveling and learning about different cultures.
